I am definitely more of a girlie-girl now than I was when I was younger (I was well into my 20's before I started to carry a purse or wear any makeup), but that doesn't mean I'm any less of a strong independent and self-assured woman! In fact, I'm more confident in myself now than I have ever been. I am proud of the woman that I am. And that I don't need a man in my life to make me happy.

As RuPaul says - "If you can't love yourself, how the hell are ya gonna love anyone else?"Erinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09628940738111521373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939165368430334769.post-26731274894348760812011-05-18T07:13:09.064-04:002011-05-18T07:13:09.064-04:00Well said, Sue!Well said, Sue!Lonelilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14493784004430597655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939165368430334769.post-15701266986052765912011-05-18T05:26:41.009-04:002011-05-18T05:26:41.009-04:00I agree. I thought the whole Women's Rights, ...I agree. I thought the whole Women's Rights, Women's Liberation and Feminist movements were about giving women the freedom to make choices about their own lives and how they wanted to live them. What was the point, if we, the women, turn on each other for being feminine?Dawn Genahttp://www.chroniclekeeperz.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939165368430334769.post-65655441120689901492011-05-17T16:17:19.726-04:002011-05-17T16:17:19.726-04:00Thanks!
