My opinion is that we shouldn't be deprived of all of them but learn how to keep our lives in a balance. Of course, do not commit any crimes :P I've seen documentaries and I know a lot about American eating habits. If you want a piece of advice, you can start by including walking exercise into your life. It is the best for starting out and also for keep going with it ;) Oh and cut off all the junk. I know it's hard for a lot of reasons but this is what will get you really worse. Sorry for the long post but I thought I could share with you what I know in depth from personal experience and observation.
